About Me

My name is Drayton Dillon. I am from a small town 30 minutes outside of Columbia called Chapin. Naturally, the proximity of the University of South had much influence over a lot of my high school friends when deciding on further education. I however did not want to experience high school all over again, rather I wanted to branch out; move far enough away, as to get the full college experience, yet stay relatively close to home in case I need my mom to wash my dirty laundry.
I've always been interested in art which is what mostly influenced me to take this class. My favorite portion of the class was first semester when we used the adobe suite to create original digital masterpieces. I liked photoshop and indesign because of the artistic freedom that came along with designing each project. HTML coding and website design proved to be difficult and there were many technicalities that need to be followed for your website to even work properly.

The Class

The Class itself was by no means easy but I am glad I took the course and would most definitely recommend others to take it as well. Professor Moore was always willing to help any student that needed it. If you want to further your career in the field of Electronic Publishing and Design, the class is a must. Take a look at some of the things I created by clicking on both portfolio links. I learned a lot in the semester and hopefully my knowledge of HTML is expressed throughout this website.
